The Peabody Landscape Group Blog was started by the employees of Peabody Landscape Group, located in Columbus, OH. The purpose of the blog is to entertain, inform, and engage people who love the outdoors, anything involving landscaping, and learning something new. Meet The Crew
The Creative Crust
Chris Peabody is a one man wrecking crew in the Marketing Division of Peabody Landscape Group. It is his responsibility to help maintain the blogs appearance, promote, and provide our readers with great content. When he is not working on the Peabody Landscapes Ohio Blog, he is taking care of the social media aspect of marketing or trying to find new innovative ways to separate Peabody Landscape Group from its competition. When work isn’t involved Chris loves the outdoors, playing sports, or spending time with his friends and family.
Sir David J. Smith has been involved in the landscape industry for the last twelve years. Given his past experience with site construction and horticulture, David specializes in Residential Landscape Design Build & Residential Landscape Maintenance. He credits his success to being able to execute the needs and implement the desires of the landscapes for his clients. When Dave isn’t at work he is either listening to music, throwing darts, or spending time with his family. But it comes time to getting down and dirty at the dinner table, anything BBQ is what hits the spot for this fella.
The Candy Dish
Megan Lamp graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture. She has worked at Peabody for 9 years, and fills many roles within the company. Her primary job is the commercial estimator, but she will also design brochures and other marketing items for our company, manage all things related to IT, and sometimes assist the residential designers. When Megan is not spending her time at work she is either traveling or spending time with her husband and son on their farm.
Tim The Tranquil Triumphant
Tim Hensley has spent a lot of time and hard work here at Peabody Landscape with his 12 years of service to our company. He started out working on enhancement crews doing spring clean-ups and eventually worked his way onto a mowing crew taking care of properties in Central Ohio. Over the years he has gradually started doing commercial sales and is now a part of the commercial account management. When Tim isn’t investing his time and effort into his work, he is either watching his son play baseball for Gahanna or hitting the links with some buddies. (Great selfie Tim)
Monte Mike & The Soily Grail
Mike Montenaro has been part of the Peabody Landscape Group family for a little over seven years. His primary responsibility is Commercial Construction Production Manager, Soil Production Manager, as well as managing a few dozen residential projects per year. Outside of the daily hustle and bustle of Peabody, Mike stay’s busy with Tribe Basketball in Canal Winchester (Tribe is a youth travel basketball program he founded in 2011). When he and his family and aren’t running non-stop with basketball, he spends his time jumping on his Harley with his wife for a and ride with the “Scooter Trash” crew or taking long weekend camping trips.
Johnny Snow Shovel
John Sinats is the Residential Maintenance Manager at Peabody Landscape Group. From time to time he gets involved in some enhancement design work, namely entry ways, planting bed upgrades and annual flower installations. During winter he deals with snow removal and specializing in walkway de-icing efforts. When John isn’t involved in landscape work, he enjoys taking time off to travel to out-of- the- way places and take a few risks, experiencing new things not normally done.
Mary Pat Muszynski is the Greens Keeper AKA the controller for Peabody Landscape. She loves the debits and credits that she deal with at work, but at home she would much rather prefer reading histories and mysteries; cooking for her family; or playing with her 5 (soon to be 7) grandchildren!
This fine middle aged specimen is Joe Hivnor. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Landscape Horticulture and has worked at Peabody for 14 years. He started out in the trenches as a crew leader; currently as the Operations Manager. His day to day responsibilities is to manage the installation and maintenance departments within the company as well as facilitate the support groups around them such as the accounting, design & sales staff, mechanic and nursery staff. Ultimately at the end of the day make sure we exceed the budget and keep repeat clients. Away from work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, and 2 young boys. Aside from that he is currently working on designing, and installing the landscape at his house. Oh and he love Reese Cups!
Jason R. Bornhorst joined Peabody Landscape Group after owning his own Landscape Design/Build firm for seven years. He brings over 20 years of experience with him to the design staff. His extensive knowledge of Landscape and Outdoor Living Design enables him to create designs custom fit to each of his client’s needs. Jason resides in Hilliard, OH with his wife Nikki and daughter Makenzie. In his free time he enjoys fishing, golf, and of course anything to do with his beloved Buckeyes!
This outgoing Peabody Landscape Salesman is Pat Lynch. Pat has extensive experience with residential landscape design and construction. His background and experience provides clients insight to create and develop custom outdoor living spaces, as well as creating custom landscape designs to meet their needs. Pat has a plethera of interests ranging from helping people increase their Chi by instructing Yoga classes, Horses, and Iron Horses (motorcycles). Pat also enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and the best Grand Mom in the world, his wife!
Dave Peabody, the owner and president of Peabody Landscape Group, manages a diverse team with an emphasis on quality design and craftsmanship. His 32 years of professional experience have exposed him to all facets of construction and site management with particular strength in planning, design and construction. He received his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University. Away from work, Dave enjoys nature hikes, watching his kids excel in extra curricular activities, then lastly US Military History and Nature Programs.
